Simply amazing! Restaurante dos Artistas provided the best dining experience we have had while in Portugal. The service was superb as the staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. Which brings me to the food...outstanding. Each course was visually appealing and bursting with complex flavors. The portions looked small but were very filling and we were stuffed by the end of our meal. Ultimately, this was a hidden gem of a culinary experience. Prices were very reasonable (comparatively) but given the selection of food and drink, you will find it hard not to splurge in order to try different things in the menu. Highly recommended this place to travellers in Lagos but you may have to book a reservation. ~ Jay E
Très bon restaurant, excellent accueil. Cerise sur le gâteau, en s'installant nous avons évoqué l'oubli d'un objet personnel, lors de notre dernier passage dans le restaurant, il y a deux ans. A peine înstallé, ils nous l'ont rendu. Surprise, stupéfaction, et moment d'émotion et de joie. "It was AMAZING" Bing-up, RESPECT. C'est pour cela que j'aime bien le Portugal. A bientôt ~ Chris R
Simplemente espectacular. Un restaurante que esta a otro nivel en cuanto a cocina. Ahora mismo esta en mis primeras posiciones sino la primera . Gastaras dinero pero bien gastado Buena oferta de vinos si eres un sibarita. Trato exquisito. Sabor muy buenos que no probaras de normal. Aconsejo reserva previa tuvimos suerte de poder cenar sin reserva. ~ gadea69
Ein perfekter Urlaubsabschluss! Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente ist gehoben aber dennoch gemütlich. Wir hatten das Chef und das Atlantic Ocean Menü und waren mehr als begeistert. Jeder Gang war überlegt und sehr lecker; vom Amuse Bouche bis zum Dessert. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit ausgezeichnetem Essen und einen Top Service mit unserem Kellner Jack. Er hat uns den ganzen Abend erstklassig bedient, den passenden Wein zum Fischmenü empfohlen und sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Das Lokal selbst liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, ist sehr bequem und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ~ Alexander W
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Restaurante dos Artistas. I decided to make a reservation here for my birthday dinner. The food was truly delicious...every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, with a level of plating that felt artistic and intentional. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and refined, making it ideal for a memorable evening out. What truly stood out, though, was the service...impeccable and easily at a Michelin-star level. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. From start to finish, everything felt carefully curated and elevated. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Lagos. ~ Allie K
Service très professionnel et plats délicieux. Il faisait un peu froid pour s'installer dans le jardin, dommage car ce dernier a l'air très agréable ! Mais la salle l'est aussi ! Petit bémol pour le pain déposé sur notre table sans demander, en fait payant. Mais ceci est pardonné par l'amuse bouche et le pré-dessert gratuit ainsi qu'un petit sac de friandise offert ~ Maela D
Absolutely fantastic!!! My husband and I dined here last night and had the best experience! We sat on the adorable patio for dinner and received exceptional service by all staff. Polite, knowledgeable, professional, and very very kind! We ordered the red pepper soup and lobster bisque soup to start - both delicious. The white wine recommended complimented our dinner very well. We then had the beef filet and seabass filet as entrees, both of which were cooked to perfection. We choose the variation of desserts which was again absolutely amazing! This restaurant made our food experience in Lagos unforgettable. We will be sure to recommend this wonderful restaurant to others and return next time we come back to Lagos. XX ~ Talyn A
Excellent restaurant ! Entrée, plat, dessert et thé pour nous ce soir. Nous avons savouré chaque plat. Très beau choix et belle finesse dans les plats. Le cuisinier qui vient discuter à la fin du service et des serveurs nombreux et compétents. Belle carte des thés et cave à cigares sont les petits plus très appréciés. ~ Laetitia B
Central gelegenes, luxuriöses Restaurant. Hochwertige, herrliche regionale Produkte in wechselnden Menüs. Service sehr gut, Preis-Leistung, sehr gut. Parking-Aerea nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe. Parkmöglichkeit in den kleinen historischen Gassen (nur an ausgewiesenen Stellen) und Aparcamiento Subterráneo (Parkhaus Lagos, an der Marina Richtung Meer) ~ rike f
We were wandering around the city and found this great restaurant. Maybe it was because of Corona but we could eat there without reservation. The service there is top. They really earn their Michelin star. The food is just amazing. We ordered a la carde but still got little things on the house. The taste was just amazing, maybe I am not the person that eats a lot in great restaurants but I really felt the difference to a normal one. If I compare the prices with other restaurants without such quality as them. Then it's really good. You can get a full 5 meal course around 60 Euros. If you search in Lagos for a good restaurant, this should be your first choice. The next time I am in Lagos, I will definitely visit again this great restaurant. ~ Marvin B
Huelva Excelente cena, Estuve con mi pareja el día 2 de Mayo. El restaurante muy acogedor, el personal muy profesional. Pedimos dos menú degustacion y los dos estaban muy equilibrado. Muy buen producto. Repetiremos y lo recomendamos. Para mi es el mejor restaurante de Lagos distinto al resto que está enfocado al turismo. ~ Juan C
Ein sehr schönes und sehr gutes Restaurant für jeden der auch mal neue Dinge ausprobieren möchte. Dort schmeckt man Sachen, die man noch nie vorher und vor allem in solch einer Kombination geschmeckt hat. Preise sind dementsprechend hoch, aber die Preis Leistung stimmt. Wir hatten dort einen sehr schönen Abend! Der Service war auch super, sehr sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. ~ Elena L
Un des meilleurs restaurants de ma vie les personnes étaient chaleureuse et accueillante les plats excellent une combinaison un peu cher mais qui en vaut la peine en bouche ce qu’il en vaut la note de cinq sur cinq À absolument essayer si vous êtes de passage à lagos Si vous cherchez une cuisine pour pas cher ce n’est pas l’endroit où il faut aller mais si vous cherchez une cuisine raffinée c’est le meilleur endroit du Portugal ~ nanous B
Top! Indubbiamente il miglior ristorante in Lagos. Abbiamo optato per due menu degustazione, e sinceramente mangiare con 50€ a testa 5 portare più un benvenuto e pane con burro aromatizzato è stato davvero soddisfacente soprattutto per la qualità e gli accostamenti dei piatti. Dico solo che il mio compagno voleva tornarci tutte le sere. Consiglio menu portoghese! Spero di ritornarci presto ~ francesca c

Minha primeira vez visitando o restaurante e posso afirmar que foi uma ótima experiência. A comida estava muito boa, o serviço 5 estrelas e o ambiente muito agradável. Tendo essa primeira impressão, tenho certeza que voltarei mais vezes ao local. O empregado de mesa que esteve conosco, Jack, foi sempre muito atencioso, gentil, e educado. We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Dos Artistas during our stay in Lagos. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed — the atmosphere is both elegant and relaxed, with just the right touch of charm. The food was truly exceptional — beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Every course felt thoughtfully crafted, with a focus on quality ingredients and creativity. The wine pairing recommendation was also spot on. A special thank you to our waiter Jack, who made the evening even more enjoyable with his warm, professional service and great sense of humour. He was attentive without being intrusive and added a personal touch that made us feel at home. Excellent en tout point. Une expérience complète avec un 5 courses menu. Des produits de qualité, extrêmement bien cuisiné et mis en valeur. Mon frère et moi avons pris le chef’s menu, je le recommande à 100 %. De plus, le service était parfait, serveurs et chef de rang au petit soins, nous n’avons pas du tout attendu pour le service des plats. Le personnel est très calme et souriant. ~ Marie F
Nous sommes allés dîner dans ce restaurant à l'occasion de mon anniversaire. Nous avions pris un menu de 4 plats, qui s'est avéré bien suffisant pour nous. Les plats étaient originaux et raffinés. Le service est agréable et discret, le cadre chaleureux. Une bonne adresse de Lagos pour un diner de qualité tout en étant accessible niveau prix. ~ Charlotte M
Ein schönes Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre und tollem Garten. Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts 4 mal hier und wurden nie enttäuscht. Eine Reservierung wird bevorzugt, zu zweit bekamen wir jedoch auch spontan noch einen Tisch. Für uns war es das beste Restaurant in der Gegend und definitiv einen Besuch wert. ~ Simon
We came here for our anniversary, the staff here moved heaven and earth to make this a special evening. From special decorations to the absolute care they took with us it was a truly special evening. The food itself was fabulous, incredibly good tastes with beautiful execution and presentation. Every single dish without exception was an amazing event. Obviously you pay good money for this kind of evening and restaurant dos artistas was as expensive as you would expect. However we were very happy to pay this as the evening more than lived up to expectations. The set menus were also very good value being about 40% cheaper that a la carte by our estimation. Een mooie plek midden in Lagos! Geen toeristische menu’s maar echt uit eten! Perfecte bediening en je zit heerlijk in een knusse binnentuin! Het eten is genieten, we hadden onder andere de beef carpaccio, linguine pasta met verse truffel en eend! Veel Portugese wijnen op de kaart, wij dronken de Pinot Grigio! ~ Daan N
My husband and I had the best experience at Dos Artistas. We reserved online and told them it was our honeymoon, and when we arrived they had heart decorations on the table and congratulated us. Made us feel very special. We ordered two set menus (garden and Portuguese) and both were exceptional. Food was 10/10, but the service was 11/10. So friendly, so accommodating, and extremely attentive. They even put “in love forever” in chocolate sauce on the edge of our desert plates. One of our best dining experiences ever. I don’t leave reviews often, but if you were doubting going here, it is worth double what they charge. Reserve a spot on the patio, it is beautiful! ~ Jillian D
